Cultural heritage in corten steel and glass with Stader Glas
Following the traditional thatched roofs of Schleswig-Holstein, ppp architekten designed a new entrance and exhibition building - the Jahr100Haus - for the Freilichtmuseum Molfsee. Dominant are the two above-ground buildings made of Corten steel, which are connected via a glazed courtyard in the sunken basement.
Our partner Stader Glas delivered the heat-insulating glass SANCO Plus Neutral for the façade, which provides the exhibition areas with sufficient daylight. In addition, it reduces heat losses and thus contributes to the energy efficiency of the building.
