High-voltage interior design with Stader Glas
In the tranquil town of Stade, not far from Hamburg, an interior design centre leaves nothing to be desired: Gatzke Freudenberg. Located in a former power station, the specialist, with over 80 years of tradition, combines everything to do with space, electricity and light. Following extensive renovation work in 2011, the showroom now shines in new splendour. The kitchen department has been extended by 330 m², and the reception area and lighting department have also been given a fresh new look. Glass played a key role in the conversion and extension of the imposing brick building – and this is where the expertise of us and Stader Glas came into play. With SANCO Plus, we supplied reliable insulating glass that significantly reduces heat loss to the outside. This is an important aspect, not only for cost reasons but also for the sake of sustainability.
