On a gourmet mission with Weha-Therm
Deep in the Bavarian Forest is a unique gourmet address: Restaurant Johanns. The gourmet restaurant in Waldkirchen was named after the merchant Johann Garhammer and is located on the second floor of his fashion house. It is run by internationally recognised chef Michael Simon Reis, who serves traditional and innovative cuisine that is both regional and refined.
The restaurant, which is tastefully designed on all levels, was designed by blocher partners, who, as with other designs, opted for large glass fronts and exceptional views. Float glass was used for the staircase and 8-millimetre-thick Parsol grey for the interior fittings from our partner WEHA-THERM Isolierglas GmbH & Co KG. Parsol grey is a uniformly coloured, smoke-tinted glass that provides intensive light and glare protection and gives the building a unique aesthetic.
