45 degree inclined solar and thermal insulation glazing
Now that it is getting dark earlier again, the company building of the tool service provider HAHN+KOLB Werkzeuge GmbH in Ludwigsburg with its illuminated offices is coming to show to advantage appropriately. The two reinforced concrete frame buildings, realised by the Stuttgart architectural firm Sigrid Hintersteininger, stand out spectacularly with their trapezoidal floor plans and predominantly triple-glazed mullion-transom façade.
We supplied the right glass for the building, which was designed as a passive house: 4,800 m² of SANCO Sun COMBI 70/40 with SANCO Plus EN2. The combined solar and thermal insulation glass is characterised by very high light transmission and thus efficiently supports the building's overall energy management. To complement the photovoltaic elements on the 45-degree inclined façade, we photorealistically reproduced them as SANCO COLORPRINT HD for the edge and corner areas
